Also important is an accelerating population. The number of young people is very high and they will be most unhappy to discover they have no future. On this front alone there will be instability. By that I mean, apparently senseless wars.

The declining world's oil supply will cause wealth for some M.E. nations to increase but not others as their supplies start to run low. I can't see this causing stability in either the newly poor or the rich Middle Eastern nations.

We in the western world will be annoyed when they choose to consume their own oil rather than sell it to us. And that will also cause 'instability'.
