As to cutting support for anyone, I suggest Pakistan is a far more likely target. The Pakistan Military had to back down over the Davis-Affair (with the threat of losing their US$15Bn in US Aid) and almost magically the Taliban (originally & according to most a Pakistani Armed Forces Proxy, see http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/taliban/interviews/saleh.html & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VZT4L2eKBQ) somehow brings up the Jones-Koran Issue NOW? I mean, that happened a month ago?

While Pakistan continues to provide strong support, training & weapons for the Taliban, we should cut off ALL funding, aid & flood relief. Quite frankly, if they respond by increasing their support to the Taliban, I'd suggest the US support India over Kashmir & a military solution to the same. That should prevent Pakistans refusal to allow the breakup of Afghanistan into Tajik, Hazari & Pashtun dominated countries (http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2011\03\31\story_31-3-2011_pg3_2). Mr Saleh, presents a real opportunity - a reversion to the Northern Alliance (allied Ethnic Militias) and the possibility of allowing them to split away from the Pashtun dominated South (where the Opium is).

As to the Pakistani Military having Nuclear Weapons, lets see how much weapons development they can carry out when faced with India & the USA and without US$15Bn in Aid, etc. Israel is not arming, training and providing shelter to those killing Australian and American soldiers, Pakistan IS.

The time has passed, no more playing games, the USA does not need to invade Pakistan to finish this idiocy, the Indian Army will quite happily do that - For too long the West has propped up Pakistan, for too long they have bitten the hand that feeds. It is time to stop paying for the Taliban to kill Afghans. That is a bigger concern that what happens in Pakistan. India, with its 1.2 Billion people is the West Asian Superpower, lets stop protecting Pakistan from the same.
