Kipp:

I think Kipp, it is important to keep reality focused within the thread of history. A broader question regarding the death of Mr Kato is, did he die due to reckless endeavour or did he die due to high profiling his sexual “bent”? Homosexuals must soon begin to realise their cause is not universally popular, and resistance in all forms should be expected. Homosexuals have a responsibility to ensure their own safety, and not display reckless behaviour with the expectation that the UN charter of human rights will keep them safe, necessarily .

Another yoke of myth the Homosexual lobby labour under is, the expectation that Christians will “lay down” over the issue of homosexuality. As we know, Christianity has a long and inglorious history of blood -shed, both dealt and received: Latest acts of blood-shed against homosexuals in Uganda prove the point

Shintaro:

“Gay bashing” was once a Saturday night sporting event for many Australians. I would consider Australia to be a more civilised nation than Uganda; but anti-gay sentiment has simply been suppressed here; not a secure method to fortify any long term future towards oppression is it, when one form of suppression is subdued by another as a replacement? I believe a call for caution is timely.
