Yes, it is a good question. Had the Nazis has the technologies that we enjoy today, they would not have been human rights organisations in those days, on or off the web. The same applies to China today and perhaps there are one or two other countries controlled by dictators that suppress their people in the same way.
So Israel is adopting one more anti-democratic pillar as it tears down yet another opportunity for thinking outside the mandatory Israeli/Zionist mind-control of 'tow the line, think like us and don't ask for real democracy. We're not into real democracy.'
A whole country modelled on the frightening characteristics and the distorted values of Netanyahu, Lieberman and Livni.
But the self-styled 'only democracy in the middle east?' Now there's a misnomer for a start, laughable, if it wasn't so serious and one which has it's democratic values on show every day of every week. and clearly available for all to see.
But you do need a strong stomach, though.
