Blood, sweat and tears in Cancún : Comments

By Michael Kile, published 13/12/2010

Yes, Cancún will be 'insufficient', but it is a necessary step to COP-17 - and beyond.

Flo said - "The words climate and weather are not interchangable. Weather is what is happening today and this week. Climate is what happens to a area over years."

Well, what is weather over 6 months?

Weather over 6 months does not indictate whether climate has changed. Weather, especially in Australia goes in cycles of many decades. We need to compare cycles to identify any change. Weather over the last six months would show we have moved from autumn to spring.

The carnival continues! Slowly the penny will drop that no matter how many decisions are adopted in Copenhagen, Cancun or anywhere else, the 'revenge of Gaia', if it is happening, will carry on regardless!!

WOO! a voice from the wilderness of irrationality... 'FLO'.

Well done dear Flo.

I wonder if you can use such broad strokes to explain why so many of the high flyers in the 'Climate Change' Industry (aka 'Socialist/Progressive capitalist enterprise) are going nuts in positioning themselves for HUGE CAPITALIST PROFITS out of the 'Global Warming' scam?

I myself have been raising BILLIONS to invest! I have a number of funds which are invested in the 'supply' side (taxing carbon inputs) and the 'consumption' side... technology which is to be used in the poor countries.

I tried to become president so I could GUARANTEE my future profits, but that didn't work out. Then...I tried to use my political connections in the Demobrat party and my mates in the UN...notably Maurice Strong, and various other high profile identities. Still not quite there.... but CANCUN is a step in the right direction.

If we can persuade enough dull idiot political lemmings (u know..progressives, socialists, commy's) to continue their rampaging protests and physical attacks on the status quo...we might eventually succeed.

Though I must confess, this delay IS costing me and my investors a lottttt of money. We better get cracking on this or it might turn sour.

AGiR,

It’s interesting that the largest lobby group at Cancun was that representing 294 Investment Banks, Super Funds and Insurance Companies. They represent $15 Trillion of "green investment" (including the BBC pension fund). If this all goes belly up we won't need to put Phil Jones in gaol, investors will burn him at the stake.

Follow the money.

Well the NSW government just sold our electricity to some overseas investors, to the horror of its citizens. And as China is one new owner they won't be signing any Carbon Emissions reduction clause nor will Japan. AS AGW does not drive climate change, that belongs to that big golden globe in the sky, and cosmic subatomic particles sent to us from space. Our orbit and axis. And oceans etc. Not us little humans with all our dependence on electricity, and motor vehicles and planes. And atolls have been known to sink. And King tides do flood
areas, like the high street of Cairns, in Australia.

Climate is what we expect, weather is what we get. Weather kills us, so do Tsumanis, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, meteor and asteroid impacts, deadly virus' and climate change frauds who are in it to make money. Get your priorities right first. Our planet has spent more time in glacial periods, than in interglacial periods. We are a natural ice planet, and we are cooling again. Like what we have been experiencing since 1850, after the globe got over 500 years of a mini ice age. Of course the temps have increased since then but not as much as in the Medieval Warm Period between 800AD and 1300AD.

And Flo weather is what kills us. And CO2 is just 4% of Green house
gases,(99% naturally driven, 1% human activities enhanced) 95% is water vapor. (Clouds etc). Cities generate their own
heat Urban Heat Island. But go outside those cities and take the temps again and you will find there is quite a different temperature
scale. Mind you I do believe in sustainability and we should clean up our act in big cities where pollution is rife.
