when is the last time Australia matched its promise to the U.N. to contribute 0.7% of GNP to fight poverty and hunger?

Sorry Lena, it is a losing battle.
World energy depletion is about to become the new reality and without
an increasing amount of energy, nothing can be done.
If people cannot help themselves locally then I am afraid starvation
or low fertility due to poor nutrition is the only option.

The world population only reached its present numbers because of cheap
oil supplies. Cheap oil has ended and it appears we are now at peak.
It is only down hill at the end of the plateau.
