The UN is not "Israel-hating". The reason Israel has been continually sanctioned is not because of who they are but because of what they do.

Name any other State that has a history of illegally occupying foreign land, uses agents with forged passports to carry out political assasinations in other countries, is guilty of Human Rights abuses, uses internationally banned weapons on civilian populations, participated in (actually introduced) Cyber-Warfare via the release of the Stuxnet Virus, sells weapons to despotic regimes, has supported and trained security forces during the apartheid era and has a nuclear weapon arsenal kept beyond the formal international inspection process - just to name some of the charges?

If it was North Korea doing all those things you would be screaming about it and demanding we take action but takes for Israel is a Veto from the USA and it's all ignored and then they moan about being victims (again). Many are blinded by their superstitious lust fantasy for some sort of prophesised armageddon and a Second Coming to see the obvious truth that they are technically a rogue state with no regard for international law.

That's the true weakness of the UN - the ability of a few powerful countries to override the rest and their inability to take real action.
