The omnipotence of the mass media has given entitled darlings plenty of media career opportunities - even those without talent.

The only bit missing was the part where these pretty young things find that their good looks eventually fade and start to whinge about how unfair it is that good looking people get such an easy ride.

Tragic but true.

Today it seems that a degree in journalism today is merely proof that the holder is almost literate. Employable only as the 'fix up' editors to make the celebrities books and life palatable/profitable.

News corp don't want independent thought just make the owner's interests more profitable.

'celebrities' are simple manufactured to make money for the above.
Meanwhile the value of real life escapes us.
