Yes good article but we may have far bigger problems than we realise.
I posted this on another thread and if true we are facing a calamity of epic proportions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpaSewyddd4 I guess the question is would you like plastic with your fish and chips? Posted by Opinionated2, Friday, 25 September 2009 12:51:46 PM

Professor Callum Roberts has written an amazing book - An Unnatural History of the Sea - a history of fishing for around the last 1000 years. How little we've learned. 400 years ago, were the first calls to ban trawlers. And with each species collapse, another species is victimised. Appalling waste and appalling abuse...Fisheries may be the most mismanaged of all our mismanaged environments.

Fisheries is about the catching of fish, not about about managing the ocean environment.

Behold - the Sixth Extinction and may their God forgive them - the greedy, the selfish, the vandal - the ignorant, for they know not what they do, nor do they care!

Second, the average cat in western countries eats more fish than the average human.
