The US-China relationship is among the most important bilateral relationships in the world.

This is actually a pre Obama dot-point history of recent US-China relations. It was written before Obama's Inaugural speech and before Obama's appointees, including Mrs Clinton, voiced their in-power attitude to China.

Still the Democrat's policies as set out in the election campaign are now being voiced and implemeted with little variation - so far.
