Blogging the crisis : Comments

By Nicholas Gruen, published 20/1/2009

Welcome to the turbocharged ecology of cyber-opinion: where, in the financial crisis, bloggers found a real voice and made a real difference.

Gruen omits the many more blogs that demand bankruptcy proceedings for this disaster, and that the likes of Paulson and Bernanke not only face FBI interrogation, but a sure sentence for major fraud and theft (as for their international counterparts). Not a few blogs want them shot, along with all the bands of thieves from Goldman, JP Morgan, Citi, HSBC, Parnibas, etc. Instead, Gruen tells us about those who "moderated" the ongoing heist for publicity goals, or a kind of "regulation" and nannying for perpetrators of mass theft.

And Krugman gets a Nobel...wow! A spin doctor of bailouts ("compassionate corporatist fascism"?) gets approval from the same oligarchical filth that awarded Nobels to the clowns who designed the entire cesspool of usurious, parasitic debt farming in the "innovative financial instruments" a.k.a. "derivatives". Who'd have thought?

By his closing line "doing us a power of good", Gruen seems to mean "doing us oligarchical financier-parasites a power of good publicity, as we rob and enslave the working poor even further in a monumentally corrupt culture".

Any article starting with "George Soros", beware.

Not only unrepentant criminals, but proud of it.
