Terrorists attacking Mumbai have global agenda : Comments

By Ashley Tellis, published 15/12/2008

The barbarity in Mumbai represents the ugly face of Islamist terrorism that threatens India, the US and its allies.

Firstly, whilst I don't have much time for fundamentalist Islam it is rubbish to suggest that it is responsible for the wave of terrorist attacks attributed to it starting from the spectacular 11 September 2001. There is abundant evidence that that attack was a 'false flag' operation orchestrated from within the White House.

If anyone dismisses any suggestion that the September 11 terrorist attack was a 'false flag' operation, then please view these YouTube presentations:

"WTC7 in Freefall--No Longer Controversial" at http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=gC44L0-2zL8
"WTC7: NIST Finally Admits Freefall (Part I)" at http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=V0GHVEKrhng) ... or read this post (http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?discussion=2166#51675) and subsequent discussion from an Online Opinion forum on “9/11 Truth” and then try to convince yourself that the ‘collapse’ of World Trade Center Tower 7 on 11 September 2001 was not a controlled demolition.

See also http://911oz.com http://911truth.org http://911blogger.com http://patriotsquestion911.com etc

It is well understood the fundamentalist Islamic political movement of the late 20th and early 21st centuries is largely a creation of the US, set up to fight the left-wing government which came to power in Afghanistan in 1978. It is known that Osama bin Laden the alleged perpetrator of the September 11 attack was an asset of the CIA at least until July 2001 when he was met in the American Hospital in Dubai by the CIA station chief, whilst undergoing kidney dialysis treatment. (see "The CIA met Bin Laden while undergoing treatment at an American Hospital last July in Dubai" at http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/RIC111B.html )

I suggest readers open their minds to the possibility that the Mumbai attacks were also a ‘false flag’ operation.

Well, what can possibly be added to daggett's superb response to such an incisive piece?

I think they deserve each other.

But I did notice that the author is "a senior associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace."

No doubt closely affiliated to Orwell's Ministry of Peace.

What I find really difficult to understand is why so many "institutes" of this nature are determined to blow Islamic terrorism into a worldwide conspiracy.

My guess is that unless they build the threat to a certain critical mass, no-one will give them the time of day.

This is evident in such throwaway lines as...

>>Such violence is emphatically not directed at remedying the grievances of India’s Muslims or resolving the dispute over Kashmir.<<

Sez who?

Lashkar-e-Taiba has been active for fifteen years, and according to the Anti-Defamation League "seeks to drive out Indian security forces from the disputed Jammu and Kashmir regions of South Asia and establish an Islamic caliphate."

ADL is not particularly well-disposed towards Islamic terrorists, but makes no grandiose global claims for this particular set of nasties.

Another "look out, the mozzies 'll get you" piece.

They are becoming increasingly hysterical.

I reckon it's because they feed off each other.

They'll all end up like those poor cows who contracted BSE through eating their colleagues' brains.

Mad Commentators' Disease.

Welllll... now we have it all....

Dagget's incisive piece... his brilliant anaylysis of 20th hand blogists, and his amazing grasp of 50th hand information..

Thanx Dagget..I was wondering who did all this and now ..I rest in the knowledge that it was... "US" ourselves. Cooool.

That's one extreme.

Then we have our other resident apologist.. seeking to posture himself as the epitomy of balance... more wonderful words of wisdom from him....

From Delicate Daggets post though.. I never cease to wonder what he hopes to achieve..

1/ What the heck can we do about all his allegations?
2/ Who/What does he offer as a replacement for it all?

DAGGET.. it's about time again that you took off you'e Bat Pilger suit from the local fancy dress supplier and TOLD US who you are in fact promoting here (besides yourself)?

Let's have it in point form.

Daggets Declaration:

I Dagget.. hereby offer "fill-in-the-blank" as the solution to world peace and harmony!

You all know by now where to look for the ideological source of such attacks IF....they are conclusively proven to be from LeT.

If they do, it simply underlines the core truth that if such fanaticism becomes contagious to Australian Muslims we would see the same kind of thing.. OH WAIT.. it did... and some are already convicted and others are on trial.

Silly me.

The terrorists who attacked Mumbai and all Islamist fanatics not only have a “global agenda” but a godly one as well which makes them extremely dangerous as they pursue their eschatological goal. As the Bush administration with all its faults declared early on, this will be a long war and a most dangerous one as the terrorists over time have the great potential to develop the know-how and technological capacity to use weapons of mass destruction and even nuclear ones, and their increasing ability to acquire them, which they will employ against the infidels of the West with fanatical glee.

No “Periclean” cynicism and “smart Aleck” political analyses and “stealing the act” in vaudevillian political plays can negate the fact that the West and America are engaged with an irreconcilable and deadly enemy whom only defeat on a global scale can salvage Western civilization from the attacks of these witless godly inspired fanatics.

I feel like upsetting the lot of you. Daggett by name, inclination, habit and reputation. Only someone like you could take any notice of the crap produced by Global Research. I read stuff from the extreme left - the barking mad variety - through to the lunar right and they are so wrapped up in their own conspiracies they can't see the wood for the trees. There is a sad sack that writes for global research who has written 13 or 14 books, possibly 16 and goodness knows how many articles on how 9/11 was a fake! Tell that to the families of victims.

For a change, I'm pleased to see some sanity creeping into online opinion when it comes to terrorism. In particular, Mr. Greg Barns could learn a great deal from reading the work of Prof. Tellis, especially as he appears to believe that there is no one qualified to talk about the terrorist threat in this country. Apart from his eulogising a certain Indian doctor detained under admittedly harsh antiterrorist laws, has he ever stop to think what if he had been wrong?

‘Pericles’,

What a disappointment ‘Pericles’. You have used the name ‘Pericles’ but no where have you come near to taking on the mantle of the legendary statesman. Perhaps you should try a name like MOHAMMAD GOEBBELS Bin Laden.
