Why is Kevin Rudd re-regulating the labour market and introducing an emissions trading scheme that will shovel manufacturing jobs overseas?

Ah whenever you see "former" in front of someone's name you know you’re in a for a spray. Mr Black doesn't disappoint, he also delivers on not actually coming up with solutions just criticisms. Rudd is doing want he was elected for
We didn't like the industrial relation laws the Libs gave us.
We wanted action on climate change.
Mr Black is blaming Rudd for the financial problems the world is experiencing, well buggar me here was me thinking it had something to do with bad lending practices in the US.
Rudd is doing a good job, and it’s a great thing you’re a former labour senator

If the Howard government had been far sighted and responsible it would have spent the mining royalties surplus on national infrastructure to proof our society from the ravages of peak oil and excesses of the global stock markets. On September 30th 2007 Ross Gittens wrote of the impending financial crisis. As much as I admire Ross Gittins I don't think he is a fortune teller I think he just writes articles reflecting current economic thought. NB politicians with law degrees who have practised as stock brokers and bankers are not economists.

At the global economic crisis has progressed Rudd's approval rating has increased. Most Australian's are suspicious of Turnbull and Bishop's motives. Do they want what is best for working Australians or are they out to line bankers and miners pockets.

The reason for the ETS is to help prepare for a sustainable future in which today's children can enjoy the benefits we have experienced in the last fifty years. Examples; water in the tap, a Barrier Reef worth visiting. Alas I fear the ETS will be weakened to the point of ineffectiveness. Even if climate change isn't your 'thing' then a jobs exodus would foolish with or without carbon limits. In particular China is facing coal shortages http://www.theoildrum.com/node/4810. Perhaps we could send them more coal, no wait let's keep the jobs at home but make them green jobs. It's called thinking ahead.

You know the national economy is like a lady.

She needs to be treated with tenderness and gentleness, she gives her best responses from soft caresses , which arouse her inner feelings and gently swell into a mutually gratifying experience (just ask any woman).

Howard and Costello were consummate lovers of the national economy.

They ensured the taxes they gathered were in part, prudently spent, in other areas used to repay the debts of previous socialist profligacy and then some put away for a rainy day, all in all, the national economy appreciated their tender ministrations and was bountiful in her ‘favours’ to us all.

Over a year ago the national economy lost her lovers.

No longer is she respected, nor is she treated gently.

Those things which Howard and Costello put away are squandered in an orgy of rapacious spending.

Instead of soft caresses we have some testosterone fueled rapist louts, pinching, prodding and squeezing every orifice and at ever opportunity, intent on satisfying the needs of their own Ego and damn the national economy.

In the end, when done, they will turn her out, like a street whore and force all to face the vagaries of the stormy economic night.

Then she (the national economy) will remember, reflect on and wish for the embrace of her past lovers, those who respected her.

I figure, by the end of the current parliamentary term we will all be wishing the national economy was in the hands of more competent and consummate lovers, than the fumblers, squeezers and three second thrusters, presently servicing her and exercising all the consideration, experience and prowess of a Lebanese street gang.

In the end, the national economy will be battered, bruised, to some extent ruined and hoping for a new liberal government to nurture her and bring her back to health.

No wonder its the Recession we had to have. IT could have been avoided if only more people thought long term and had voted with their heads.

OH dear the economy is like a woman[what rubbish], the beautifull numbers [or beautifull members ]the liberalisers loved to masticate over ,t'was was only honouring her with their lips.

they plasticised her by lies about how god she is by lying about her abilities ,massaging her figures ,reclassifying her children into them and us [good and bad][2 hours work is fulltime employment, lol.]

we sold telicom one of her children into prostitution to pay off the social conscience and nurturing duties ,we burdened gst upon her children
,while she was away swerving as mistress to her lovers]while reclassifying her spouse into a higher tax brackett] and favouring her boyfriends with tax cuts while placing the debt burdon upon her least favoured.

all this figuratism from the closeted liberals is a real downer , she showerd bountifuilly upon just who egsactly ,it wasnt upon her children ,but her elite lovers ,who alone got her gentleness [the rest got contracted terms and a belt with her silverspooner]

she never was a lady[and serviced so few , with it all , then she was set up to fail ,her children despised ,when the liberals lip[o sukktioned off her fat and fattend up their own slush fund[and who gets paid to man-age her fun-ds some liberal knee jerk W/banker]

good to see you got a new job
now your not re-writing the NUMBers col

Nothing more ex than an ex John, again you prove why you are an ex.
Nothing but dribble.
Having lunched with you once I am unsurprised at your stance and the fact you are totally wrong
Voted with their heads Col?
You truly amuse me.
After we win the next election who will you blame besides voters who do not blindly follow you?
Rudd here to stay , the opinion polls agree with me, get Blacky to buy you lunch , but get into the wine early he collars the bottle fast to take home.
