Good article.

I propose any study of failed doctrines like Marx and Keynes be totally ignored or only studied to show how egalitarinisn be limited. The ideas of Mill should be compulsory study and the economics of Hume, and the Austrian school be paramount.

Art be limited to classical music and the traditional masters and traditional dance. Of course indigenous culture should be taught and studied as it has great relevance.

No religion.

Scaremongers like Al Gore and Mike Moore be held in custody to stop frightening our children and all theories on climate warming be evaluated without prejudice by anyone but the UN idiots.

Studies of media be limited to the lesser intelligent and journalism ranked alongside insurance, real estate and car selling and other scams.

Oh and no more women bankers and more encouragement and affirmative action to assist men to re-enter the education system as teachers.

We might then evolve into less than the foolish idiots most seem to have become since the abandoning of much of the traditional emphasis on the traditional Liberal education.

You are beginning to confuse me more than a bit, Keith?

Personally, as one going on 88, and giving thanks to a part German mother who on the farm during the Great Depression knowing that us young'ns had been forced to leave school early to help on the farm.

Yes, Mum as we called her, besides having a big personal library, even early in the Depression bought for us kids the 10 volume Arthur Mee's Childrens Encyclopedia, making sure we took interest in them.

Furthermore, although we were religous also, it seemed we were also encouraged to decide for ourselves, which during later studies during retirement from farming, helped me find great interest in Bertrand Russell's Philosophy of Western History.

Such a study proves how much modern Christianity owes to Hellenistic Reasoning, proof of which is proven during the Late Middle Ages, when St Thomas Aquinas found the commonsense to accept that to release Christianity from the Dark Ages, even Holy Faith had to be tempered by Reason.

As it is obvious you are intelligent, Keith, might pay you find out once again, that much of what philosophy is all about, is just plain commonsense, similar in some ways, to believing in a fair go.

Cheers, BB.
