The interdependence of the consuming nations with the low cost producing nation(s) predominantly China is an interesting one. China has accumulated over a Trillion dollars in foreign currency reserves, predominantly US Dollars, which is funding US consumer debt, including presumably some of their sub prime loan debt, as well as providing the wherewith all for the US to pay for its military adventures overseas. Whoever stops playing this game first will cause the other to implode and my guess is to watch out post Olympics.
