Planning an Inland Port : Comments

What is an Inland Port and what are its requirements? Planning for our transport future.

I can't help but wonder if this idea wouldn't be better implemented as part of the Melbourne-Brisbane inland rail link, which under the federal budget, recently received $120 million for feasibility studies.

In which case the inland port would be located at either Toowoomba, or if the Cunningham Rail Link option was accepted as more efficient, then a site further south.
