Doesn't really matter. You could probably count the number of true Libertarians in Australia on two hands, which is a big shame.

This is a wank.
Beware of anyone promising anything "libertarian". Chances are, they will exploit you to sickening lengths. As the script says in French film "the Death of Marat by the Marquis de Sade in the Insane Assylum", "screw you because you are being screwed". Remember one of the founding philosopher's? His name was the Marquis de Sade. His name was used in describing "Sadism". His basic philosophy was that in a true republic, an individual has the liberty to do whatever they like, especially exploitation. Sure, you say that "classic libertarians" will stick to speed limits and wear seat belts. That is not the point. The point is that without protecting vulnerable people, particularly in the workplace, you know that the master has the power and liberty to intrude on ANYTHING they like. Sade claimed that sex was their right as the boss. If you are stupid enough to be a peasant, well, according to Libertarians, you deserve to be screwed. Literally. Sade went further to claim that civilization is less pure than cruelty. Don't eat before you watch these. Don't let the children see them. Well, they ended up fighting with each other as they got so confused as to what liberty was. The whole con job is worth sending up. I like this one: Green Libertarian Nazi Hemp Party http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6H0D59-SVSA Everything you do effects another human on this planet. The Liasse Fair liberals, classics, neo-cons, or whatever they call themselves presume that they are Gods. We all have to die one day. One wonders: what then? It was Adam Smith the Scottish father of Laissez-faire who first gave warning about greed and liberty being used simultaneously to give freedom to the entrepreneur for necessary competition and marketing and the good of the coutry.
As with the Iraq problem today we have George W Bush mixing freedom and liberty and loyalty as well as body counts happily almost all in the same breath.
All depends what side you are on.
Here's me going on 86 and remember when I was a little lad my part German mother explaining about a copy of a classic painting on our wallpapered hessianed wall.
The picture was of the aftermath of the guillotening of the French queen Marie Antoinette during the French Revolution, with a Madame Roland expressing. "Oh Liberty what Crimes have been Committed in Thy Name
