That nobody responded to this article until the day after it was posted says how far off the radar this African conflict really is. :(

quite right - yet the years of war in Sudan have resulted in far more death, misery and dispossession than the suffering in the Israel/Palestine/Lebanon conflict. I wonder why we're so one-eyed on this (not that we should discount what's happening in the middle east, but that we should not forget the ongoing horrors in much of Africa)
