I laugh and scoff at this one!

The Poor Boys have long left the camp mate, they couldn’t wait for AI; already usurped by the cherished God of Capitalist greed in all it’s obvious forms, and dictated to by self serving Politicians scorching votes with lies and empty promises of better times…vote for me…yer, not likely! Things are bad but they could be worse, if left to the current mob to guide our future.

I expect that AI will be developed to a point where it appears to have human intelligence, but it will just be a very clever illusion.

It will seem to be acting and thinking independently of humans but behind the curtain there will always be people pulling the strings.

Humans have free will, machines do not. We have no idea how to create a machine that is a genuine free agent: we have no idea how to create the non-physical substance (which humans have) that enables an agent to override the mechanistic nature of the universe.

So don't be deceived. Evilly motivated people, not fundamentally dumb AI, are what we need top be concerned about.
