Can there ever be complete and permanent peace in the middle East?
Probably not while ever Israel continues with its genocidal and expansionist policies against the Palestinians. It may be possible if the die hard orthodox segment of the Israeli population is prevented from continuing with their invasion, destroying and annexing of Palestinian territory.

No, because nothing in this world is permanent.
And no worldly peace is complete either.

But well, 100-200 years of relative peace is a real possibility that I pray for.

Israel's occupation is anything but orthodox.

According to orthodox Judaism, The Jewish people will eventually be redeemed, forgiven and their exile ended, but that is in the hands of God and it is sinful to attempt to grab the land of Israel by force. Nobody can tell when redemption will happen, but it always WILL happen, always in the future, always prayed for.

The strange idea as if Israel, a civil/secular state and its expansion, has any religious significance, goes straight in the face of Jewish orthodoxy.
