New Year's message of 2025 from the Federation for a Democratic China : Comments

Dr Chin Jin,
I am afraid that if you are relying on God (and Donald Trump) to perform miracles then you are wrong on both counts. First of all, it has been well demonstrated by the current mayhem in the Middle East and an analysis of the Christian Bible, that God cannot possibly exist. Next, Donald Trump and his acolytes are only in it for the good of Donald Trump and he is not going to defeat Xi and the CCP if that end will be put in Jeopardy.

<< The Xi Jinping dynasty has become a global laughingstock >>

Maybe among some in Western nations, but certainly not amongst most non-Western countries, whose people BTW comprise almost 90% of the global population.

<< Today's global challenges-including the Russia-Ukraine war, the Palestine-Israel conflict, the chaos in the Middle East, and the war rhetoric in Northeast Asia and the Taiwan Strait-bear the significant imprint of the Xi Jinping dynasty. >>

They certainly do not. China has adopted a neutral peace-keeping mediation role in both the Ukraine and Gaza conflicts. China's 50-year reunification with Taiwan has always been an a sensible and openly-stated vision and well accepted by the rest of the world, until the US began fomenting separatist uprisings all around the place and heavily arming Taiwan, all in an effort to undermine China and orchestrate regime change.

The common 'imprint' in all these conflicts is not China's. It's that of the US, the beacon of democracy that apparently China and everyone else should model their governments on! And all with God's blessing! What a sick joke!

Kudos Chin Jin. One of the few that seem to have some sane views on the long term China situation. Thank you.
