It is now called MPox and not Monkeypox because the goody-goodies don't want people to be linked with monkeys, or thought to be behaving like monkeys. It is spread via unnatural practices, to be politically correct: by “close contact”, starting with people's bums.
First “discovered” in parts of Africa. Yeah. And the “global outbreak” in 2022-23 wouldn't have anything to do with mass immigration from those parts, would it?
The “natural reservoir” of Monkeypox is not “unknown”; some people just don't want to mention it.
As for ‘out of Africa’, it could have been kept there. But the truism, ‘import the Third World, become the Third World must not be talked about either, according to the virtue-signallers. And, you can bet you can these days get AI to tell you comforting lies about Monkeypox as you can with anything embarrassing to the anything-goes-now progressive West.
Vaccination? Just don't behave like monkeys, or pal up with people who do.
