More sick people sidelined as now through lack of ability to pay for advances in health care technology while the real winners at the top end to increase their wealth.
We were all mostly surprised with the arrival of a simply operating street level money dispensing machine now recognised universally as an ATM.
This simple technological advancement has revolutionised banking and eliminated the need for front line bank counter visits, reduced costs for customer service and increased the scope of profits for the banking industry.
Simple street level advances in treating common conditions with technological advances will ensure the gap that technology can produce between useful use of existing services and excruciatingly expensive new technology is what’s needed.
Let’s not ignore the worsening current situation where people are dying in hospital corridors expiring on an emergency gurney while waiting for the most fundamental of hospital attention.
