A question that would be better put to Americans, not Australians, who don't seem to be very interested in what Australia does , let alone what America does.

America at least stood by its ally and friend by voting NO in the appalling UN Palestinian vote, unlike Australia and the Albanese government who again demonstrated their anti-Semitism and pro-Hamas attitude; not to mention their ignorance of the fact there are no such things as Palestinians; they are Arabs.

The post is a bit dated given that the Biden regime has now started to withhold funding and armaments from Israel to try to force them to abandon the Rafah invasion.

Biden's, or at least who run him, greatest concern is the potential loss of support from the muslim community in Michigan which might in turn flip the state to Trump. Nothing more noble than crass politics.

In earlier times, disagreements were settled by force.
Whoever was the stronger was the victor.
It is still this way in the rest of the animal kingdom.
But we don't live in a primitive society do we?
Humans have the ability to think and to reason.
Hence they have the ability to reach compromise and agreement.
Even after a perceived wrong has been done to them.
Revengeful retaliation is not for civilised societies?
Using strong force to settle arguments will cause destruction and death.
And this will happen on both sides?
So it is pointless, and no one is really the winner?
Going to war, and similar, must be a very last resort.
Applied only in very exceptional circumstances.
All countries and groups should do what they can to keep the peace?
And that includes making it difficult for those involved in 'skirmishes'?
They should act if they are able to do so without inflaming the situation?
In the long term, all would benefit?
