You really need to fess-up to the nearly universal truth, for your own peace of mind, there are “NO” good Politicians, or for that matter, no encompassing political parties, and probably there never were: The closest to that eventuality is a dictatorship, of which a military dictatorship is the most entrenching of its kind.

So to win the game of Politics, one needs to control the military establishment. That’d be my own hope for Trump in the unfolding US civil war.

It’s delusional to consider there ever was or will be.

What a poisonous piece of work this woman is. To recap some of her history:

She gave a sympathetic interview to Nicolaas Bester, the former teacher jailed for grooming and then sexually abusing 15-year-old Grace Tame, saying that schoolgirls “should not exploit their seductive powers to ruin the lives of men”.

She attacked Rosie Batty, the mother of an 11-year-old boy murdered by his own father, as a “feminist puppet” for emphasising that domestic violence against women and children is more serious and prevalent than violence against men.

She defended Rowan Baxter, who murdered his wife and three children by dousing them with petrol and setting them alight, endorsing a policeman’s comment that he may have been “driven too far” before the murder.

She supported scoutmaster Robert Potter, convicted of abusing four boys, as a “good bloke”, saying “such minor abuse rarely has lasting consequences”. One of his victims later committed suicide.

She has made numerous attacks on Brittany Higgins. While neither Higgins nor Lehrmann (nor almost anyone else involved in that sorry saga) emerged as saints, the recent defamation ruling that on the balance of probabilities Lehrmann was guilty of rape should surely have made her temper the bile. Instead, in this article she sneers at the Liberals for apologising to Brittany Higgins about Parliament being an unsafe workplace.

In her columns, rapists, child abusers, coercive controllers, domestic violence perpetrators and wife murders are repeatedly portrayed as victims of feminist ideology or female manipulation.

I don’t know whether she actually believes this guff. But she has a very profitable schtick pandering to the prejudices of the more nasty and gullible corners of the men’s movement.
