Henry Kissinger: snake oil salesman of gangster realism : Comments

By Binoy Kampmark, published 5/12/2023

The nasty deeds are either misread or diminished – notably when they have to do with the global infliction of mass death, prolongation of conflict, or the overthrow of democratic governments.

Putting the boot in when aa man is down is disposable! But when he is dead and cannot defend himself! Lower than a snake's belly and as dirty as it gets!

No he wasn't a saint but his good deeds may have outweighed the bad stuff. If we all had our sins tattooed on our foreheads? We'd have little to say about others.

Don't point to the stye in another's eye while ignoring the plank in yours!

He must of had something most people don’t have since in the end he lived to one hundred and died wealthy. Everyone aspires to those ends.

So simply, the end justifies the means wins as usual.

Dying wealthy is something everyone aspires to? What, you think one can spend any of it in the afterlife? Or perhaps we can bury it with them?

We leave this life as we came into it. And our mortal remains go back to dust or ashes. And unless fossilized, leave no evidence in time that we were ever here. On this tiny speck of inconsequential dust that is planet earth, relative to the universe.

'No he wasn't a saint but his good deeds may have outweighed the bad stuff'
Only a fool poses an argument as 'may have' so as to exaggerate or promote legitimacy.
Just the sort of comment I would expect from one who emulates a wet fart in a paper bag.
