The Refugee Convention is not fit for the 21st., and has not so since people displaced but by WW11 were settled; most of them have been dead for years.

So-called refugees that have been taken in since that time by the West are part of a racket that has contributed to multiculturalism and residents with cultures inappropriate to Western culture and lifestyles.

In Europe and America, illegal arrivals are even being called 'migrants', for Heaven's sake! How pathetic - or calculating - is the Western political class!

"Reevaluate the pros and cons"? There are no pros; it's all a giant con, by the 'refugees' themselves, and Western politicians, who are either cowards, or they want to change the West because of some gigantic guilt-trip or self-hatred.

On Suella Braverman, those not in the know should realise that she is a Pom of Indian extraction, just like the UK Prime Minister, so the usual windbags can't scream 'racism'.

The UNHCR, and the UN in general is also out of date, and should be disbanded.

As for Australia, we have too many people permitted to come here legally by our idiotic duopoly - actually encouraged to come here - without shonky 'refugees' looking for a free ride and handouts.

Did the Albanese Labor government tell anyone that 11 illegals had arrived by boat last month, and have now been sent to Nauru from where all sorts of shenanigans by the anti-Australia lunatic Left will be performed to get them back here?

Home Affairs doesn't want to 'talk about it'. A Liberal Senator says that it was the "ninth people-smuggling venture since Labor was elected". Who knew?

It seems that our border protection is starting to collapse again, just like it always does under an ALP government. The Coalition's work (one of the few things that they were good at) is being undone, because the smugglers and illegals know that far-Left Albanese is an even bigger goat on border protection than Rudd was.

Here's the thing. Many asylum seeks fly to transit nations on a tourist visa before taking an illegal boat ride.

What prevents them flying all the way on said visa, then seeking asylum?

I believe there'd be fewer asylum seekers, if their stories were tested by unbeatable space age lie detection!
