As Greg Copley said they would, the saps aiding Ukraine are getting sick of doing so because there is no point in it. The West has itself to protect from what is a threat to it: China - not Russia. In the case of the U.S, protection from an idiot President and the Democrats should be the first priority.

This author has a beautiful way with scepticism.

A better and more encompassing use of US loose change would be to fund existing research into dangers of approaching asteroids, with one sailing too close by earth for comfort shortly at 1.4 klm across with a potential to wipe out a complete Continent and end human habitation on earth for good. But I guess from the evidence, there is good money to be made in endless wars as a preference.
