Good for Taiwan. But, diesel?

In the meantime, we hear nothing much anymore about our theoretical nuclear submarines that are due in a couple of decades - theoretically.

Good, and the speed difference between the subs and the Chinese aircraft carriers, won't matter if there's a point of intersection and in range of high-speed, navigable torpedoes.

I like the concept of being able to hurt China enough to make any territorial gains, not worth the price they may have to pay! And just as applicable to Australia as Tawain.

Taiwan Is the epicentre of the CCP hatred of the West, and for good reason.

We should not be dragged into another Asian war, especially this one which will probably and very likely be the final nail in US supremacy, by guaranteeing another losing war, (if that status even matters).

Who outside of the US warmongering machine cares about Taiwans submarines.
Australia has been sucked into the worst deal of the century, subsiding the US navy with our latest debacle into the unknown future involved with equipping ourselves with submarines which can only threaten our largest trading partner.

At what point of madness dies Australia stop allowing itself to be dragged around by the ears supporting US interests at odds with our own future?
