Not sure that this junket will be anything more than a largely worthless talk fest.

As many of the delegates will have single issue agendas. May not cooperate with the need to transition away from any dependence on fossil fuels.

But sell as much as they can to energy strapped nations, to earn maximised oxford scholars.

Some green energy solutions are feasible, but nuclear energy must be on the table as MSR thorium. If only to ensure poverty ravaged nations have a solution they can actually afford!

Grateful again to Dr. Voicu for drawing our attention to the emphasis on solidarity at the upcoming UN General Assembly meeting, and a parallel focus on intergenerational solidarity of the BRICS countries. It is noteworthy that BRICS countries are inviting new members in 2024 - although inviting Iran is perplexing. It is always instructive to read Professor Ioan Voicu's insights on international multilateralism and solidarity in key world forums.
