The prospect of normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia will have enormous implications on Israel and the entire region.

But…makes one wonder on the issue of border controls .

As bad as the reputation of Israel’s border control, would teaming up with the Saudis be wise?

Well yes, but a peace accord between Israel and Saudi-Arabia that includes a "2-state solution" would not end the occupation.

So long as Israel holds even one square millimeter of the land it took in 1967, its moral foundation cannot be restored.

If Israel cannot, for political/demographic reasons, rid itself of ALL the territory it took in 1967, including eastern Jerusalem, then it is best for it to split, leaving its occupied territories in the hands of Judea, so at least the moral foundation of what remains of Israel can be restored.
