All the author predicts could have been so, except for one detail:

THERE IS NO "ISRAELI-PALESTINIAN CONFLICT"!

How can a non-existent conflict ever be solved?!

The real and only conflict there, is Israeli-internal, it is about the meaning and nature of the state of Israel, whether it should remain Israeli and Zionist in the original sense of the word and in the hands of those who originally found it, or whether it becomes Jewish/Messianic, where "Zionism" acquires a totally different meaning.

Both camps are fighting for their home and neither can afford to lose.
The West-Bank just happens to be used as a flag and its inhabitants as proxies to the internal hatred within Israel. Nobody really wants the local Arabs to suffer, they are not really relevant, they have no power, they are not a side, nobody either loves them or hates them, they just happen to suffer the collateral damage. Without them as a punching bag, Israel's civil war would come to surface and its streets flooded with blood.

I can't see how any other country, including Saudi Arabia, can do anything about that internal Israeli conflict.
