The probability of gaining the support of 66 senators would be an unprecedented shift in support away from the establishment and military towards the people.

Maybe we all should take a greater interest in this subject of seeming irrelevance.

Now that Capitalism at last, would appear to be off the side of the road and heading towards the ravine of no return, our future in Australia may hinge on better and closer associations with our Asian neighbours.

Where have I heard that one before?

What has the will of the people, or democracy, anything to do with it!? China will do what it needs to do as interference, to ensure a result that suits them and China's aspirations for the region.

Moreover, a house divided among itself cannot stand.

I see a new Myanmar emerging and blood on the streets as the people try to take their country back.

Better to die fighting on your feet for your freedom than on your knees begging for it, or on your back paying for it!

"China will do what it needs to do as interference, to ensure a result that suits them and China's aspirations for the region."

Australians can be so clueless when it comes to understanding US foreign policy.

Pita Limjaroenrat is himself just a US proxy, educated at Harvard.
The west has interfered in Thai elections attempting to install their own puppet ruler (again), and idiots think China is the one interfering.

Your 'democracy', is just a fancy codeword for Western imperialism with the sole purpose of imposing their will AGAINST CHINA.

Lock him up like Aung San Suu Kyi and throw away the key.
Better to have a military junta 'of the people' and your country sovereign as well as all the sanctions and attacks by the west that go with that than a western installed puppet ruler and your country a vassal state instead, but try arguing that to brainwashed teenagers at university that are more concerned with gender and sexuality.
- Which is why the west likes to target university kids to start protests and civil unrest, it serves a purpose.

Democracy just means the people don't actually have a say in anything.
- Everything is decided by foreigners.
