Democracy in India is not perfect, neither is anybody else's. But arguably, superior to anything produced in any Islamic state. And never ever underestimate implacable people power when an autocrat seizes unelected power.

That is a wild and untrue statement. India would be well down the list of anyone asked to list the top ten democratic countries, if it made it at all. Australia sucks up to India only because it has a lot of people - although more and more of them are coming here - who 'might' help us out with China. That's despite its being matey with Russia. And, it should be remembered that it went for Russia bigtime after the Raj.

So in love with Modi is Albanese, that he has agreed to recognise the very iffy qualifications of the graduates of the very, very iffy Indian universities in our immigration spectacular.

However, the suggestion of India pairing up with China is an appalling thought.

One of the hard right extremist forum posters tried to tell me a while back, that India was superior to China. What a joke, with mass poverty and huge unemployment, there no comparison. The sick man of Asia is no longer China, its well and truly India.

India & China have been to to top before & are on their way to the top again. The West has been to the top for a fleeting moment but the weight of its own greed/stupidity is dragging it down with the help of Democracy.

What the village idiot is saying is that after he claimed that China had zero unemployment and was in perfect economic condition, I compared its growth with Taiwan whose people are the same and whose economy is far better and didn't have to kill 50 million people on the way.

China has little health care, unemployment benefits, and labour laws that are almost never enforced and an economy that is the most indebted in the world and in serious trouble.

The village idiot instead compared China to India. I pointed out that India's growth rate is nearly double that of China and looks like overtaking China in a couple of Decades.

I started the comparison, I freely admit I was praising China for having a strong economy and for achieving remarkable improvements in economic areas under the CCP. The 'Name Caller' tried to say India was a beacon of economic goodies under Capitalism, I said not with massive unemployment and poverty its not. I compared two countries with similar economies, populations and size, China and India. Since India failed this silly 'Name Caller' deflected to Taiwan, claiming; "well they are both Chinese", he could have deflected to Luxembourg, with a claim that, "Well they are both people".

INDIA has NO health care, NO unemployment benefits, and labour laws that are ALWAYS enforced! Their one and only labour law is; "Do as we command, or we'll throw you down a well!"

Ha! Sleepy Old Joe can't leave America, they can't afford the air fare! Their economy is teetering on collapse with trillions being lost everyday, that's why, and the old fool has to stay home and try and do something. The silly name calling Trumpster looks rather stupid now.

p/s I'm sure President Xi of China can leave the country and fly around the world any time he likes,because he knows, the Chinese economy is in such good shape.
