Budget delivers population explosion, crashing environment, and widening inequality : Comments

If only the educated opinion in my educated hometown were bigly true. Anthony Albanese is a courageous reforming bro, saving us just in time from that bad old Scott Morrison.

Unfortunately we just have to take what we get from Australian politicians because our voting system does not put fear into them.

The thing that really amazes me is the latest cost-of-living compensation supposed to counteract rising electricity prices as well as the rises in most other essentials.

The politicians themselves caused the CPI rises with their zero emissions/unreliable energy mania - and now they are giving us OUR own money to help pay for the costs they created.

Madness!

Another great post from Stephen Saunders as we all quietly witness the destruction of Australia by population growth. Albanese must truly despise the Australia we know and laugh at the people struggling to find accommodation or those who have environment concerns. It would be remiss to not mention the pathetic Liberals and fake Greens as they cheer on the destruction. They couldn't do it without the unfailing assistance of the ABC.

This "Big Australia" is so stupid and so wrong!
It is all well and good to aim to try to decrease emissions and consumption but while ever we keep creating more and more consumers by this out of control population situation.
We, homo sapiens are THE consumers and THE PROBLEM and we are only exacerbating this problem by breeding excessively. We destroy our Environment, that which keeps us alive, and cover the fertile crop growing land with concrete and bitumen and then wonder why flooding water, caused by our own selfish and greedy stupidity, will not soak in and away but instead rises up and destroys our houses and lives. We destroy forests, along with those living in them, and wonder why it is so hot in summer and we have droughts. We complain and become angry when we encounter traffic holdups or queues in businesses all caused by TOO MANY PEOPLE.
The fabled Lemmings are not the only animals marching blindly over the (population) cliff.

We blew mining boom 1 and 2, allowed the CMFEU and debt laden foreign players to decide energy policy. An energy policy that forced manufacturing offshore.

Dismantled cooperative capitalism at every opportunity. And now reap the whirlwind of the straight jacket of extremely limited available economic options.

Our insane economic reliance on China has only compounded our economic difficulties and loss of economic sovereignty.

And have just received a budget from the head buriers. And one the excels in massive mediocrity.

Getting this mob to change course and do what has to be done to rescue the economy and our defunct manufacturing sector is more difficult than brushing a dried turd of off a blanket.

We need to embrace nuclear energy and learn how to say no to China and look for more internal self-sufficiency and diverse markets.

We need to grow the economy not the population! If you look at our available water resources over time and affordable housing, the house full sign must be put up!
