By Ben Rees, published 20/4/2023

The problem now facing the western world is the failure of both Reaganomics and Thatcherism to manage the dislocations that have emerged following Covid and the European military crises.

"At the heart of Australia's emerging economic dislocation lies failure of contemporary economic philosophy".

Philosophy my eye! Australia is going down the gurgler because useless Australians have had it too good for too long, and they are too stupid to realise what is happening. They are getting what they deserve.

"Immigration has become the instrument to build population and stimulate growth." Yep.

Over 2023 and 2024, the numbers are telling. Economic growth (~1.5%) will struggle to exceed rapid population growth (~1.5%), driven by a well-funded Albanese immigration deluge that smashes our 100-year records.

Polls confirm, it's not what voters want. It is what powerful donors and "stakeholders" want, whether they are "left" or "right". They police and shut down dissent, with the zeal of a medieval inquisition. Hullo, open borders. Goodbye, sensible politics.

Yes. We are collateral damage. It's the 'tyranny of the majority' at work.

Agreed. Unfortunately the majority against immigration doesn't speak up.

Maybe the richest 1% have had it too good for too long, but the vast majority of Aussies haven' had it good enough for long enough!

Immigration is a convenient scapegoat for those unwilling to address future needs.
