The Ukraine war has shown how important it is to have a technological edge when fighting a war. The 1980s Russian tanks, guns and aircraft are being smashed by 1980/90s US-built stingers, Javelins and HIMARS and M777 howitzers.

Similarly, the B2 spirit bomber which neither Russia nor China has managed to match is being replaced with the smaller, cheaper to build and run and potentially pilotless B21 raider that is far more difficult to detect.

The US weapons conventional and nuclear are a deterrent against anyone that would be stupid enough to attack either the US or one of their allies.

The cost of these expensive weapons is a fraction of the cost of actually fighting a war.

Binoy doesn't like the B21.

Test pilots would have tested this monster to the enth degree. That we had to have this monster testament to the savagery of some nations and their mad as cut snakes, heads, the whim and caprice of madmen.
