Italy and much of the developed world need more than the 'great replacement' but focus, as many have on temporary churn over of young working age, for budget contributions to support more oldies and related services.

Due to below replacement fertility, like Australia etc. Italy passed the working age 'demographic sweet spot' before Covid and is on decline (see below) and 'positive eugenics' e.g. baby bonus only bring plans forward then fertility drops again.
