Zoe Buhler’s Adventures in Wonderland : Comments

By Michael Viljoen, published 13/9/2022

That Victoria Police now do not have the courage to see the charge through the court process, shows how much these pandemic laws were essentially invalid.

I think this author has a bit of a misunderstanding of the law.

I think the police these days are portrayed in sympathetic terms as the thin blue line, and as they are is as they always were, the authority: But who’s authority is plainly a Government control through the department of political puppets referred to as the DPP, Point the finger of scorn at the DPP; a nasty nest of small minded bureaucrats seeking to do more harm than good, and it looks like things haven’t changed in a while

As for the last topics of interest in the article, it attests to the remarkable success story of the NSM as the propaganda arm of the Government.

Some expert advice here:

Don’t vote

Don’t read newspapers or watch TV, and don’t join Face Book.

Ho Ho to the losers.

Dan.

And yet, the money is on the hideous Andrews and his gang being returned.

You can always tell a Victorian, but you can't tell him very much! Noncompliant Victorians made the critiqued laws necessary! And created the smoldering resentment among the noncompliant! And resulted in this Mad Hatter risible essay.

The upcoming election will show what Victorians think of the Premier and his hands 0n handling of the killer pandemic!

Alan B,
I can see you’re a true believer. But just having a quick look at the main point that was raised here briefly, which was the non-willingness of the police to see the charge come to court, what do you make of this?

At first glance, it does seem cowardly on the part of the police, despite them handing Zoe Buhler a mountain of bureaucratic red tape for two years, to then just drop the charge for no reason.

It does seem like the police knew deep down that the charge was flimsy, and the law flawed. How else could this possibly be interpreted, given that the police didn’t really believe in the charge laid?

Is this proper conduct for a civilised and democratic state, to have police barge into your house and handcuff you for a charge they know to be claptrap?

Is it proper in a democracy, to have police barge into your house and handcuff you for a charge they know to be politically based, that they now are admitting has no moral basis?

This was the one incident most responsible for waking people up to see that Covid was a political crisis, and not a health crisis.
