The politics of Gotcha : Comments

By Everald Compton, published 31/8/2022

Unfortunately, it looks as though Albo is following the awful tradition created by Scomo, Turnbull and Abbott of constantly and unnecessarily holding witch hunts.

Of course Albanese is conducting a witch hunt; and Scott Morrison isn't, and never was, conservative.

But, most of all for this naive, 91 year old man's information, the public does not give a stuff about any of this nonsense: they have lives to live. Whether or not the Governor-General commits seppuku or Morrison resigns, is the least of their concerns; they are fully occupied with the cost of living, the ruination of the elitists' Covid mismanagement and abuse of power, and the idiocy of climate change and unreliable electricity.

A witch hunt!? You jest surely! That said, I believe Scomo is considering his position as are the liberal party? As for the media and their activities? Well, it sells. I particularly liked the very clever priceless Parkison parady.

>Sadly, it has now gained Morrison a sympathy vote among conservative voters.
Is there really such a thing?
