Caroline Jones is a person, (or was). Not as feminism’s cultural butchers would have it.
An immortal bare breasted human statue, the darling of the Amazonians, dedicated to the great and noble attributes of feminism, further represented by an infamous and sadly iconic, rainbow flag of the cultural warriors:

Maybe an internment; an eternal resting place for heros and heroines of the cultural wars waged against society, on display in the vestibule of the temple of doom, the ABC.

God save us from BS.

Dan.

A trailblazer for female activists, that the ABC is now riddled with; nasal whining, ignorance, unable to pronounce words correctly, nor know their meanings. Jones was old school and OK, but certainly not interesting enough to be eulogised.

Caroline Jones the girl from the bush who made it in
the city. She made it because she had grace, poise,
sheer class and stacks of style. Her mother tragically
took her own life in 1969, an event that deeply affected
the young journalist and it sent her on a life long quest
to find meaning in the world and revealed her life's
purpose. This made her connect greatly with people
experiencing hardship.

It was a gift she shared with the Australian public over
more than 50 years as a journalist, broadcaster, storyteller,
and mentor.

"There's a special place in heaven for women who help other
women." So the saying goes.

I'm sure that she's earned her place with the angels.

RIP Caroline Jones.

Eternal Rest Grant to her, O Lord
And let perpetual light shine on her
May she rest in peace.
Amen.

With the separation of church and state in secular societies, like ours, the mass media tended to shy away from spirituality in looking at politics.
Caroline Jones managed to bring the spiritual dimension and focus back to the media to show the importance of such meaning behind day to day living and politics.
Afer all, the differences in the spiritual ideals of our politicians seems to make a huge impact in determining the direction of their policies.
Is it unlimited individual fredom that is sacred, or is it the 'one for all and all for one' mentality'?
Caroline Jones seemed to have popularised the latter.
