Jordan, Arab League and UN fuel Jew-hatred on Temple Mount : Comments

By David Singer, published 11/5/2022

Thousands of rioters defiled what is venerated as a Muslim Holy Shrine -- converting it into a rallying point for flag-waving slogan-shouting Palestinian Arabs armed with rocks and Molotov cocktails.

Sorry, David. It's not Jew-hatred that has caused this problem but the occupying forces treatment of locals and the illegal land annexing by Israel. You need to slow down your spin mate as spinning at that speed can cause you to become quite dizzy and may lead to a serious fall!?

Jonah prayed from the belly of the whale and God answered his prayer.

Is there anywhere where God is not, or where God is less, or where He cannot hear?

No matter where you are, if you pray sincerely, God will surely hear your prayer.

All religions, however, determine that one should, as much as possible, endeavour to pray in a clean place.

That particular site used to be one of the most unclean places on earth: thousands upon thousands of animals were slaughtered there - cows, oxen, sheep, goats, turtle doves, pigeons and rams. The slaughter took place several times daily, more so on Sabbaths, new-moons and Jewish Festivals, but most especially on Passover when all Jews were supposed to come to Jerusalem and the meat had to suffice for them all - rivers of blood literally flowed.

Why choose such a place to pray?

Apart from this, even for people who care not about and somehow justify animal mass murder, Jewish law forbids entrance to certain areas of the former temple - some areas for all Jews and others only to "unclean" Jews (which includes most, especially women). Due to geographical uncertainties, some Rabbis have forbidden entrance to the temple-site altogether while others allow entry only to certain peripheral areas and under strict conditions.

In summary, Jews have no religious need to pray there - doing so is intra-Jewish controversial, merely a secular political desire which threatens to split the Jewish people.

Muslims and others that were mentioned in the article could well be Jew-haters, but in practice they render Jews a great service by preventing them from breaking both moral and Jewish law and from uttering God's name in vain by politicising their prayers.
