I agree that Parents need to police what their children consume digitally! As to the rest, do not accept censorship or having other decide my moral values, or what I consume digitally I am 78 and know my own mind and what I like to view. And none of the puritanical bible bashers business what I watch in the privacy of my home! Not that I'm into porn or illicit activities on line. Albeit might watch a little soft porn at times as a cure for endless boredom? But still none of your phucking business!

Parents taking responsibility for themselves and their children is the only way. We don't need bored do-gooders and fusspots telling other people what to do.

All very good, but the reality is, humans are an animal more prone than most others to addiction.
There’d be a science to explain the intricacies of addiction, but for what is it’s design by nature?
Surely that would be an inbuilt survival strategy. (Greed and accumulation is another, as example).

This new age addiction to gazing into screens is on a level with the age old habit of drinking alcohol; and truth would have it surely, no different in intent.
The majority of alcohol drinkers capably deal with the dangers, but a minority don’t or can’t.

So what does society do in dealing with the chronically addicted minority?
Left to Governments, it’s time for the appearance of an NGO. Shed responsibility, and make a motser for their mates in private enterprise. Glee.

Well at the least, we will know more simply, where to find the majority of those with a pedophilic disorder, and too many more of the weak minded, who, (I notice all too frequently), their feet rarely touch the ground, bedridden with a fixed gaze on a digital screen, addicted and lost in a world of fantasy, incapable of living a life in the crudeness of the physical world.

We, as a society in the affluent free world, can continue to down-tools and exploit the wretched poor from the third world, to shore-up our addiction, further disengaging itself from reality and masterminding innovations from another realm, with gender bending theories and other confusions, rendering society incapable of intelligent conclusions to a societal psychosis, with its cause in unbridled free thought, spread by unbridled ability to promote “stupid” through its addiction to social media.

Many years ago an experiment with lab rats showed that if you progressively crowd more & more rats into the same space, regardless of adequate food & water, at some level of crowding they will start attacking & killing each other.

Now we have authorities all wanting to increase high density living for us. What they hell do they expect? We know it is the greens & lefties that crowd into city centric living. We can already see an increasing level of nasty vindictive attacks on us "normal" folk from these enclaves of stress. We have to resist strenuously all attempts to force us into these ghettos of distress.

I have often wondered what inner city inhabitants actually do. Surely you can only eat out so often, or attend a show so many times, before you want to do something real. I guess it must be TV or social media. No wonder their noses are never out of their phone. When kids can't go out & play cowboys & indians or in their cubby house, what is left for them.
