By Brendan O'Reilly, published 4/4/2022The false claim that up to 100,000 were stolen has had the unfortunate effect of making today's authorities very reluctant to take measures in cases of neglected Indigenous children.

A three month old baby was brought out of the house in the arms of the perpetrator as a self defensive tactic, to be flung into the air and fortunately caught before any serious damage to it.
The attacking force bolstered by relatives from a town north an hour or so away, divided itself into two parts on its frontal attack on the home of the perpetrators. One group demolished the front of the cottage with lengths of timber, the other group began splashing petrol over vehicles and parts of the house with the intention of burning it down, with people still inside, (including the infant and other children).
No police arrived during the riot or next day. The incident was officially ignored.
I don’t make this up!
I raised this incident to an acquaintance of mine who is a retired town planner. His response is unprintable as to why the powers in control moved an Aboriginal mission on the edge of town, into the centre of a white community as a policy of integration.
It’s impossible for white communities to live in peace with a central part of town turned into a riot zone and a hub of criminal activity without responding in kind.
