By David Singer, published 25/1/2022

The Obama-Biden administration's failure to veto UN Security Council Resolution 2334 has seen that resolution weaponized.

The UN General assembly has for a long time been a hot bed of antisemitism. This was only made worse by Obama's support for the 2016 resolution.

Note that the GA's resolutions are not enforceable.

Resolution 2334 was one of the most disgusting, if not THE most disgusting things to come out of the disgusting UN; and one of the many reasons all self-respecting countries should opt out of it. I don’t know if Australia can be classed as self-respecting these days. Israel deserves respect for not budging on Palestinian whining.

As for that idiot, John Kerry, still chuntering on about ' two states', he is too thick to realise that Palestinians want only one state - their own, with Israel wiped out.

"Jew-hatred has become firmly entrenched in the UN Security Council to its eternal shame". Correct, but the UNSC is not capable of feeling shame.

I would use this article as a superb material for teaching year-9 students about the meaning of hypocrisy.

Considering a given organisation (in this case the United-Nations) to be angels¹ when they support a given agenda (in this case what the author perceives to be Jewish interests) but daemons² when they oppose that agenda - this indeed should be included in year-9 curriculum.

In the given example, the said organisation are neither angels nor daemons, but just an irrelevant social club of babblers who waste their tax-payer's funds extravagantly and never had any real influence over the Middle-East.

---
¹ "The right of Jews to live in these Territories is expressly authorized by articles 6 and 25 of the 1922 League of Nations Mandate for Palestine and preserved until today by article 80 of the United Nations Charter"

² "In its resolution 2334 (2016), the Security Council reaffirmed that the establishment by Israel of settlements in the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, had no legal validity and constituted a flagrant violation under international law"

Y,

In 1948 the Arab nations attacked the Jews and after a year of the war, an armistice (not a peace treaty) was settled along what is recognised as the border today. In 1967 The Arab nations again attacked Israel and a new armistice line was settled.

Why is the 1967 line any less valid than the 1949 line? as only Egypt has signed a treaty with Israel.

The Bible mentions Judea and Samaria, and was part of Jerusalem & Israel.
In that last 3000 years it was so until the Arab Islamic armies
invaded in the 700s and as per the Koran claim it is now Islamic land
because once occupied by Moslems remains Moslem forever even if the
original occupiers reoccupy it. The Romans considered it part of Israel.
Think what the implications of that verse have.
France is on the verge of facing that same problem.
Paris has zones sensible where French law has been replaced by Sharia Law.
My French is not good the English is sensitive.
Politicians and Army people are warning of civil war.
This will be the major topic in the coming election.
