Peter, at one time many folk believed the world was flat. As faith based belief. Faith based belief by millions never made it so! Then that the earth was the centre of a entire universe that rotated around it. And to challenge that belief could get one excommunicated.

Finally, what Jesus taught is hardly preached today by an institution more about control finance and money not non judgemental inclusion and acceptance.

And persecuting folk for a sexual bias decided by the creator not choice. And the exercise of power! As if someone somewhere had given these folk an authority that simply never ever exsisted!

The "preacher" tries all sorts of stuff on from politics to the bedroom. Which have no part of "parasitical" religion!

While one does believe in a creator etc, and the golden rule. One doesn't give any credence or blind faith or power to any organised religion, which today has evolved to be a stye in the eye of God!

Meanwhile every religious topic and idea that Sells writes about, promotes and experiences is based upon "events" and dudes that may or may not have happened or even existed 2000 years ago.
And in the case of the "Old" Testament "events" and dudes that may or may not have existed many years (even) centuries before.
In fact the Bible is essentially a work of religious fiction or story-telling. Such was a common vehicle for promoting religious idea all over the ancient world.
Everything that Sells has written, promotes and even experiences is based on or filtered through that archaic book. A book put together by dudes that nobody has a clue as to who they really were. In the case of the "Old" Testament all of the various books by dudes that nobody has a clue as to who they were, who indeed probably did not even exist as living-breathing-feeling human beings.
