Macedonia’s struggle for freedom, independence and democracy continued during the two Balkan Wars. Sadly these wars resulted in the illegal partitioning of Macedonia without the consent of the people.

Australia must not become involved in the sovereign state affairs of others.

If there's any validated accuracy in the article?

Then the proper place to have these concerns ventilated is in the international court and the UN! And should be addressed by a blue helmet supervised, new and binding referendum! And where we might assist by suggesting the same at the UN? But only if the concerns raised are assiduously validated!

The disintegration of Yugoslavia into unviable, separate ethno centric and religious "republics" is a self evident example of how "multicultural" countries are socially and politically unstable.

Those who refuse to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it.
