Pakistan’s intelligence agency has successfully delivered a great victory for Pakistan, and embarrassment and defeat for India.

India and Pakistan must stop fighting each other and competing for power and influence in the region only to be manipulated by the deep state and the military industrial complex which promotes war, mistrust and hatred. Instead they need to focus on peace with justice and sustainable development.

In times of crisis, it’s wise to keep a balanced view.

Imagine your front door is assuaged by robbers with the intention of breaking it down to gain access to your most treasured personal effects; and maybe even kill you in the process.

Would you still take the view that a …viz:

*… focus on peace with justice and sustainable development.…*

would be the correct mental state?

I am not sure about Pakistan but I believe the big challenge for Afghanistan, India and China will be preventing fragmentation.

I think that the current diplomatic efforts of China to embrace a new Afghanistan have more to do with gathering intelligence about separative groups that will very likely start forming in the region than supporting economic ties.

Sorry, but I disagree. Pakistan intelligence agency and the CCP was actively involved in preventing India's economic support from succeeding!

Other than that, I find this article a diabolically disingenuous diatribe. And patent propaganda that lacks any semblance of verifiable proof. It has been said, if the lie is big enough it will be believed! And I believe the real reason behind India's apparent lack of success in Afghanistan.

We and India failed because we prevented our generals etc. from fighting the war as a boots and all military exercise! And one where various politicians interfered of placed impossible restrictions on those we sent into harm's way.

Included in those impossible restrictions was the (half pregnant) rules of engagement and the use of expressly forbidden tactical nuclear weapons. When they needed to be on the table and available!

When the enemy does not dress in uniforms has no age limits or gender-specific limits! Then anyone, man, woman or child bearing arms, has to be seen as the enemy!

And entirely appropriate when the enemy has no such scruples and is hiding behind innocent humans in urban settings! And dressed in civies!

If what this article claims true, heads must roll! Supporting terrorism has no place in the civilised world, and those who knew about it and covered it up must be held accountable.

The Taliban is well practised in supporting terrorist organisations.
Pakistan being an Islamic government that practises Jihad on its own
citizens that are Christians or Hindus means that it has no credibility here.
Pakistan should concentrate on getting its own house in order before
lecturing others.
Islam has been nothing but trouble no matter where it is present.
Even here in Australia we have almost 100 Islamic terrorists in the
SuperMax at Gouldburn many who are now coming to the end of their
sentances and the question now is how do we hold them when released
and/or should they be released ?
They have been locked up with Benbriker for years listening to his
diatribe on Jihad, and the authorities now realise they are still fanatical and dangerous.
