People in northern NSW already use Q'ld services yet pay their state taxes in NSW!

Perhaps if all Q'ld services were denied to NSW residents and the NSW Premier had to provide them to her northern border residents out of the NSW state budget?

she may well become more reasonable and rational? Or if they sold up en masse and moved north of the border? She would lose every which way! The latter less likely than the former? Which is not off the table!

As I understand it, under the Constitution states have control of health matters as it affects their states.
For instance, some small minded premiers choosing to close themselves off, PDRK-like, from the rest of the Federation whilst pursing the goal of Zero-CoronaVirus, whilst unachieved anywhere on the earth, is their right.
But I doubt any court would entertain an argument that one state can dictate another state's right to affect/control its own citizens.
A class action of this type seems to have the same tiny chance of success as Australians overseas demanding the "right" to return to the homeland. None of them actually pointed out where such a right was enshrined.

Its been a while since I've been down there, but since I grew up there my opinion should be worth something.

I only have one issue...

Tweed Heads Public Hospital, which is about 1klm south of the border.

If you move the border south, then you'll cut access to the hospital off for everyone in northern NSW.

People will have to drive 2 hours south to Lismore.

I will say that people who live in Tweed Heads are inextricably a part of the Gold Coast, and it must be hard on them being locked out.

Why does the article author have such a narrow focus for a class action lawsuit?

Please explain to me which person living on Australian soil hasn't been affected by, or infected with #VOBGS, namely Victim Of Bad Government Syndrome? Or perhaps you could call it #BCS, Battered Citizen Syndrome?
