By Michael Knox, published 29/6/2021

Most of the price increases in the last year are in the petroleum sector and in the energy sector. The ones that are outside that group were still automotive.

What this piece fails to tell us is the base it is working from.

Is it the pre Covid economy, or last years figures, seriously depressed by the pandemic, or government response to the pandemic.

Basically a useless bit of tripe without that qualification.

We confront two choices? Allow a weaponised yoyoing oil price to thoroughly emasculate our potential economy or choose a readily available alternative that will quite massively turbocharge it!

Day after day vested interest and their political doormats, keep insisting we are or need to be reliant on this or that fossil fuel or coal!

However, if we but used the brains we were born with, we'd stop listening to these wee few if very loud voices and just crack on with MSR thorium, nuclear power and the electrification of the economy!

Almost every day this same group will erroneously claim that electric cars are not viable because they don't have the range!

And simply put, BS! Given placing a cling wrap thin layer of graphene under our roads and magnetic induction plates under our electric vehicles, eliminates that erroneous claim entirely

As for planes? See a future not too far ahead in time, when electrically-propelled VLT planes will fly nonstop to anywhere on the planet and by the safest route, regardless. The same non-nuclear, water-powered (hydrogen) propulsion system able to fly mankind to the stars employed as a sub-light speed hyperdrive? I kid you not!
